The Howl is a new information platform designed to reduce the number of emails sent to campus-wide addresses.  Expect the Howl in your Sul Ross email inbox Monday-Friday around 9:00 a.m.

To get your post in the Howl, send your announcements/information to howl@sulross.edu by 8:30 a.m. Monday-Friday.  If you miss the 8:30 a.m. deadline, the information will be included in the following day’s Howl  Make sure that your information is relevant to a campus-wide audience and follows these format requirements: 

The Howl is a text-only email platform; however, links to social media and blog posts are strongly encouraged!  A how-to for Sul Ross blog creation can be found here: https://blogs.sulross.edu/how-to-get-a-department-or-club-blog/

Include an event’s date, time, location, and contact person in your announcement.

The Howl includes announcements and information appropriate for campus-wide audiences in Alpine, Del Rio, Eagle Pass, and Uvalde.  Please designate the campus on which the activity will take place.

Items for sale will not be listed on the Howl; however, such items may be listed on the Sul Ross Classifieds page by logging onto http://classifieds.sulross.edu.
